How it works

Transfer โฌ200 to Sailing Pro. Within 24 hours you will receive your login credentials for the RYA Interactive platform, plus the VHF handbook included in the fee.

Complete the online course
Log in to RYA Interactive and work through all seven training modules at your own pace โ entirely possible in a single day. Finish with the pre-exam knowledge check and keep it to hand: you will need to email it to us before the exam.

Register for the exam with the RYA
Pay the ยฃ76 exam fee directly to the RYA on their website. You will receive a personalised exam application form โ email it to us, together with your completed pre-exam knowledge check, before the exam date.

Exam day in Rome
Come to our venue โ Fiumicino or the city centre โ and put your skills to the test. The exam combines a written paper with a hands-on practical session on radio simulators. Pass, and the Short Range Certificate is yours.
