Sailing Pro Italy runs Yachtmaster pathways to prepare candidates for the official RYA/MCA exam with a structured route to the required standard.
Certifications
Training is 5 intensive days onboard with an experienced Yachtmaster Instructor, followed by 2 exam days with an independent RYA examiner in Procida. The result is an internationally recognised RYA/MCA certificate, which can be commercially endorsed (Commercial Endorsement) for professional use.

  • 30 days at sea, 2 as skipper
  • 800 NM (self-certified accepted)
  • 12 night hours
  • GMDSS-compatible radio certificate (e.g., RYA SRC)
  • Valid First Aid certificate (e.g., RYA First Aid, STCW, or similar)

Yachtmaster Offshore

  • 50 days at sea, 5 as skipper
  • 2,500 NM (self-certified accepted)
  • 5 passages > 60 NM with night hours, at least two as skipper
  • GMDSS-compatible radio certificate (e.g., RYA SRC)
  • Valid First Aid certificate (e.g., RYA First Aid, STCW, or similar)
