Shorebased Yachtmaster
Advanced navigation and meteorology
The RYA Shorebased Yachtmaster course is an advanced path in navigation and meteorology for candidates aiming at RYA Coastal Skipper and RYA Yachtmaster Offshore. It revisits some Day Skipper topics, but without solid foundations you may struggle to absorb the full programme in the allotted time—you’re expected to start at RYA Day Skipper Shorebased level.
