Introduction to Sailing

First taste of life under sail
Fully onboard and built as a solid introduction to sailing. You’ll start by getting familiar with the boat—hull, rig, sails, deck, steering compass, and onboard instruments—with a primer on the engine. You’ll learn points of sail, trimming, and steering, plus the basics of the COLREGs for safe navigation. By the end you’ll be an active crew member: aware of what’s happening on deck and able to execute core captain’s commands. In fair conditions and familiar waters, you’ll even be able to take the helm briefly without complex manoeuvres.
